It is about time an artist releases a cd with hit after hit after hit. This has to be one of the best CD's that I have heard in a while.I pop it in when I am cleaning the house and listen to it in the car on the expressway. THANKS, NE-YO.see you at Six Flags on Thursday. You can put it in and play it straight through. What a variety. .because of Ne-Yo, I have been busted singing in the car, shower, and at the office.
Ne-yo's cd is not what I would buy and to only get 2 songs is a slap in the face. I was expecting the entire CD, instead, I got 2 songs. I won't do this again. A waste of my good money. I wanted to listen to one particular song only and I didn't get that one. I was so disappointed that, I had every intention of sending it back for a refund.

Obviously influenced by Michael Jackson, Ne-Yo delivers his songs with an airy, breathy style that's sure to get you wondering, "Who's singing that." upon the first few bars. It should had either been called "So Strung Out" or "Sweetest Drug". It's simple and has a gorgeous, multi-harmonal bridge that's reminiscent of MJ's early days. Ne-Yo is one of many Michael Jackson clones saturating the radio right now (of who there's too many to list).
But what he lacks in originality, he makes up for in infectiousness. Marques Houston used it for TWO (count 'em. But what sets him apart is that he not only sings pretty competently, he also writes his own songs. The only thing I don't like about the song is the name of the song. But it's a nice, Springy song to listen to in your car with the windows down. There's still not enough there in vocal distinguishability to carve out a niche for him in contemporary R&B.
